The Postgraduate Team provides comprehensive support and guidance to all grades of doctors working in, and rotating through, Barnsley Hospital. We are committed to delivering high‑quality education and ensuring every doctor has access to the training and assistance they need to thrive.
Our team is dedicated to the professional and personal development of doctors at every stage of their careers. Through innovative teaching, hands‑on training, and a strong focus on educational excellence, we create an environment where learning is engaging, supportive, and designed to help individuals excel.
Based within the Education Centre, the Postgraduate Team is always available to offer tailored support and advice. Several members of the team are trained Mental Health First Aiders and continuously enhance their skills to provide informed, compassionate guidance.

Resident Dr’s
The Postgraduate Team supports resident doctors throughout their training rotations at Barnsley Hospital. We offer both professional guidance and pastoral support.
